Who injects, how dosing works, what it costs and what to skip for the rest of the day.

At Tarn, neurotoxin is placed by a dermatologist or by me, under a dermatologist’s supervision. The visit starts with your face, not a menu: we watch your brows, frown and smile to see where the muscles pull and decide how many units each area needs.

We price by the unit, at $14, so you pay for the dose you need. A first forehead and frown-line treatment is often 20 to 40 units. The injections take about ten minutes with a very fine needle, and most people describe a few quick pinches.

Afterward, stay upright for four hours, skip the gym until tomorrow and don’t rub the area. You will see a change in three to five days and the full effect at two weeks, which is when we see you again to check and, if needed, add a little.

This note is general information, not medical advice or a diagnosis. Results vary from person to person. If a spot bleeds, grows quickly or changes color, book a visit within days.
